A Beginner's guide to Mindfulness and Meditation
No matter what our circumstances, where we are, who we are, how much we possess and how much we have going for us, it is ultimately the mind that makes sense of our external circumstances and determines our inner reality. The mind is our most powerful resource, our control centre. Meditation is a training of this control centre. What we practice, we become. When we invest in training this control centre - we become capable of harnessing its potential to optimise our mental health & well-being. In this program, we start from the very beginning, break down the myths and gain an understanding of the what, the why, the when and the how of mindfulness and meditation. What happens when our minds wander? What is the quality of our thoughts? Why do we think the way we do? How can we cut through the filters of our perception and tap into our unconditioned selves? Explore various techniques - audio, visual and sensory to bring the mind to a state of relative stillness and tap into its limitless potential. Create your unique tool-kit of micro-dose and longer practices to punctuate your day, everyday and reap the benefits of fertilising this limitless garden.
